About Surrey Place & Chamblee, GA:

Welcome to Surrey Place!  Located just northeast of downtown Atlanta, we are a neighborhood of 87 homes established in 1962 (click here to see the original brochure!).   This charming community rests at the corner of Dresden Drive and Chamblee-Tucker Road, just inside I-285.  Our excellent location puts us close to Perimeter and Lenox malls, and we’re only minutes away from Brookhaven, Buckhead, Mercer University, a convenient Marta station and historic downtown Chamblee.  We also have a huge selection of restaurants along the nearby Buford Highway corridor, including several international markets to satisfy your culinary curiosity.

In 2014, our area was annexed into the vibrant and growing city of Chamblee, which was incorporated in 1908.  An engaged local government and active citizen participation has recently pushed forward several “live, work, play” developments in our area, including a Whole Foods Market, several new restaurants and small businesses and additional greenspace.  The city of Chamblee also sponsors many local events including several youth sports programs, a citizen wellness challenge, a summer concert series and the always popular, Taste of Chamblee in October.

We are fortunate to have healthy participation in the Surrey Place Neighborhood Association.  We collect $30/year for dues in April and May, and a formal reminder is sent out in the spring newsletter.    Please feel free to join us at any of our functions or meetings.  It’s a great way to meet your neighbors and to find out what’s going on in our area!  We also are connected through our own, private Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/ChambleeSurreyPlace.
